This workshop focuses on recent developments in block Krylov methods, covering theoretical advances, applications, and practical implementation aspects. It aims to bring together researchers and practitioners and to provide a platform for discussing emerging challenges and opportunities.

Participants are kindly asked to arrange their accommodation independently. Several hotels are located in the vicinity of the institute. In addition, a limited number of simple, budget rooms are available directly within the institute building. If you are interested in this option, please contact us as soon as possible.
The institute is located within walking distance of Prague’s historic city center.
The workshop is scheduled immediately after the GAMM ANLA meeting in Magdeburg, making it possible to attend both events. Participants may also take advantage of the intervening weekend to visit Magdeburg, Prague, or other nearby destinations.
The workshop will start on Monday morning and conclude on Tuesday during the day, depending on the number of talks. A joint dinner is planned for Monday evening.
A detailed programme will be announced in late summer.
Registration is free of charge but required. The registration deadline is June 1, 2026. Nevertheless, early registration is appreciated, as it helps us with the organization.
Refreshments will be provided during the coffee breaks. Lunches and dinners are at the participants’ own expense.
