Description:

In 2023, the traditional meeting of the EMS committee ERCOM (European Research Centres on Mathematics) is organized by the Institute of Mathematics, Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. The meeting will provide a discussion forum to comment on the situation of mathematics in Europe, seek synergies, establish common strategies, promote the training of researchers, and discuss any other topic of interest. We sincerely invite both directors and administrative representatives of all member and associate centres to participate.

Programme:

The meeting will start with lunch on Friday, March 24 and will end with lunch on Saturday, March 25. For interested participants, we plan a guided tour through the historical Prague on Saturday afternoon. Meeting topics:

• How we are evaluated and how do we wish to be evaluated
• Scientific publishing: open access and new business models
