Workshop Mathematics in Industry
November 27, 2020
ONLINE
The aim of the workshop
The aim of the workshop is to foster cooperation between industry
and mathematicians working in academia. There will be five presentations
of successful collaborative projects. Most presentations will consist of a
pair of talks given by a representative of industry and a mathematician.
Besides mathematical and industrial perspective the speakers
are encouraged to describe the genesis and evolution of their project as
well as gained experiences and benefits of mutual collaboration.
Workshop format
The workshop will be held ONLINE via Zoom. Registered participants will be informed on details for connecting to the presentations via email address used during registration.
Organization
The workshop is organized by the
Institute of Mathematics, Czech Academy of Sciences and
EU-MATHS-IN.cz.
